Kirsten Angell, RD, LD, CDCES

Fourth generation rancher, wife, daughter, and healthy living practitioner.

Registered and Licensed Dietitian

A western Kansas girl goes to college, moves to the city to work after college, returns to college, and decides she wants to get back to her roots.  She has a passion for rural Americans and wants to help them live healthy lives while advocating for production agriculture, the way of life where she got her start.

Professionally, Kirsten Angell, registered dietitian and diabetes care and education specialist, owns Link 4 Nutrition™ and Link 4 Diabetes™, a division of Link 4 Nutrition. Kirsten is also a fourth generation cattle rancher, and she and her husband have moved back to the family ranch to become more involved in her family's seedstock Angus operation, Lundgren Angus Ranch. Kirsten's nutrition business initially focused primarily on contracting with Critical Access Hospitals in western Kansas to provide diabetes education to individuals on an outpatient basis. In an effort to reach more rural Americans and because of her passion for the ag community, Kirsten transitioned her business to helping farmers and ranchers live healthy lives and to being an advocate for production agriculture through her group presentations focused on Both Sides of the Plate.

Personally, Kirsten enjoys landscaping, traveling, hunting and sporting events. The latter includes basketball, competitive waterskiing, and outdoor activities.

Additionally, Kirsten enjoys investing quality time with family, friends, her animals, studying God’s Word, and K-State.

Kirsten is a speaker for the Nutrition Seminar Program, a program funded by National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, a contractor to the Beef Checkoff.

Philosophy - Kirsten values prompt, quality customer service and client care by prioritizing communication and connection while building and maintaining unparalleled relationships.

I have a passion for all things rural and agriculture - especially for the people. Whether I’m ‘agvocating’ or empowering healthy lifestyle habits in farmers and ranchers, I want to align with others who have the same interest in sharing the science and the story to promote sustainability of not only farming and ranching, but also farmers and ranchers themselves.
